I own one of these . I had to do a lot of work to it so it could fly . One problem to the next . From tail wag's to unbalanced main blades and tail motor's . If I did not spend some much for it when new I would never ever bought the thing new . Horizon is so BS on their product . They just dont know . All they know is promoting JUNK and selling . As long as they make money that's it . This is not the first rodeo I been down with Horizon but it is the last when I bought this junk . They should be ashamed . But it not really their total fault . It is the manufacture that made it and sell it to Horizon . If I was to put a class to this heli it would be toy grade at best . Now I have it back out of long storage and really wanting to fix it to be as reliable as possible . Now it most likely be a tack that can not be done . Because finding after market parts for it would be hard to find . Then there is the cost in doing it . Belt drive cant be get now , Changing the motors to brushless still can be done but we have to go with new ESC X2 , Motor X2 , maybe a good gyro . Then finding all the aluminum upgrades and carbon blades . If I was to add these cost to the new cost of the heli . I would have to much .

I flew one of these for the first time last weekend. $80.00 Craigslist find, new, never flown. I had a blast, nice little break from the new 90MM Viper! I flew it without a gyro in 14 mph winds, what a fun time! Now I am looking for an Albatross to go with it. Can't wait to put in the air this Saturday! I will install a 637TA in it tonight, just for fun!
